Information We Collect
When you register for an event using Chroma, we collect your mobile phone number and any event-related details you provide (such as your name or RSVP information) in order to send you SMS updates about that event.
How We Use Your Information
We use your phone number solely to send you event-related text messages, including schedule updates, logistics information, reminders, and responses to your questions. We do not use your information for marketing purposes unrelated to the event you registered for.
Sharing of Information
Chroma does not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or personal information with third parties or affiliates.
Your information is used only to deliver the event texts you signed up for. To do that, your phone number is visible to the event host who invited you, and is processed by our messaging provider solely to transmit those messages on our behalf.
Message Frequency, Rates, and Opt-Out
Message frequency varies depending on the event. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance.
SMS Consent
Before we text you, the event host must obtain your clear consent. The required language appears verbatim next to the phone number field:
